Membership Information

Join HVVC as a 2010 member, and receive the following benefits:

Free tryout fees for any HVVC National, HVVC Regional, A2 Elite, or any state team (non-member tryout fees are $35 for the first tryout, and $15 for any subsequent sessions).

Amount can be applied as down payment for any team fees for the 2010 club season (includes local and satellite teams).

If a member does not participate on any 2010 club teams, a credit of $120 can be applied to any club clinics, private training, skills taping or other activities starting in June 2010. 

Non-refundable membership fee is $200, and due by October 25.  Download a membership form!


We are forming boys' teams for the winter club season.  On Sunday, November 22, we will have an information meeting from 5:00-6:00 PM at Saline Middle School, followed by an open tryout from 6:00-7:30 PM to evaluate players.  This is not the final tryout, so if you are interested and can’t make this one, please contact us.

We are definitely fielding an 18 & under team (18U) and will also try to form a 16 & under team if there are enough boys.  We will fill the 18U team first, so we may have some 16U boys play on the older team.  The 18U boys will play in the Ann Arbor men's league (Thursday evenings), and will also attend 1-2 tournaments in Ohio.  We will also attempt to play other teams in Michigan.

Kristin Malcolm of HVVC 15-Blue was recently honored as a Special Mention freshman by Prepvb- this places her among the top 160 freshmen volleyball players in the country!  Congratulations, Kristin!!!

About Us

HVVC offers year-round volleyball training and USAV/AAU club teams for girls and boys in Southeast Michigan.  Dexter Volleyball Club (DVC), WAVA (Ypsilanti), and Chelsea Volleyball Clubs (CVC) offer community-based AAU club teams for the youth in Washtenaw County and surrounding areas.

  Our HVVC club teams offer national and regional level training and USAV competition for juniors in SE Michigan.  Our Ann Arbor Elite club teams provide top-level AAU training and in-state competition.  We also use Dexter Creekside Middle School (2315 Baker Rd, Dexter) for our fall and winter youth clinics.

Huron Valley Volleyball Clubs (HVVC) is a charitable 501(c)3 organization.  It has a parent/coach board of directors and staffed with a club director and club manager.  HVVC was formed by the merger of WAVA and Dexter Volleyball Club in 2003.  WAVA was originally founded in 1989 to serve Ypsilanti and eastern Washtenaw County.  DVC was founded in 1995 to serve the Dexter Community.  In 2006, Chelsea Volleyball Club joined us in the summer and we established our Ann Arbor Elite teams.
